On Tuesday, June 21, Fort Bend County Commissioners Court called a special meeting to address the ongoing drought issue in our region. This special meeting addressed the widespread drought conditions in the county and immediately put into effect a burn ban.
This burn ban, which went into effect prior to the 4th of July celebrations, continues to remain in effect for Fort Bend County until further notice.
Ensure that you have the most recent information as it relates to Willow Point MUD by signing up on the District Alert System to receive communication and resident updates. Additionally, the District website will be updated, as needed, with information regarding droughts, weather and storm warnings, flood risks, and any possible impacts to facilities or drainage as a result of weather.
