Notice to Residents:

According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, Fort Bend County is currently in a state of severe and extreme drought. Due to the extreme water demand in our district and the need for water conservation, Willow Point MUD has enacted Stage 1 of their Drought Response Plan. While Stage 1 is VOLUNTARY, we ask that residents adhere to the following outdoor watering schedule:

  • Even-numbered addresses irrigate on Sundays and Thursdays between the hours of 12am-10am and/or 8pm-12am;
  • Odd-numbered addresses irrigate on Saturdays and Wednesdays between the hours of 12am-10am and/or 8pm-12am;

In addition, with your help we can avoid further restrictions by taking the actions below.

  1. limit non-essential water uses such as vehicle washing, power washing, gutter flushing, and refilling swimming pools, hot tubs, or aesthetic fountains (except those that support aquatic life); and
  2. check for leaks; and
  3. make sprinkler adjustments as needed to avoid watering sidewalks, driveways, and roadways.

Ensure that you have the most recent information as it relates to Willow Point MUD by signing up for the District Alert System, and receive communication through text and email updates. Additionally, the District website will be updated, as needed, with information regarding droughts, weather and storm warnings, flood risks, and any possible impacts to facilities or drainage as a result of weather.
